Upcoming events.
May Birthday Bash
Born in May? Come celebrate your birthday with us!
Each child (or adult) of May will get a little birthday hat and a bubbly beverage on the house. We will have homemade cupcakes celebrating you, and will do a toast around 7 PM to your having survived a whole nother year! During this short ceremony, any guest may raise a toast to their loved one or friend and say a word or two about that person for the sake of celebration, and when those are complete, we throw the drink back, sing, and cut the (cup)cake.
It’s fun, it’s whimsical, and we will do it every month. Because we want to celebrate as much and as often as we can. And because we love you and you deserve it.
Cheers and happy birthday!
Our Cup Runneth Over: Horizons Residential Care Center
Our Cup Runneth Over, and so we give back.
Just about every month, we host a charity night for a different local organization that features one of our regulars as Guest Bartender for the evening. We give 10% of the gross take for the day to that organization, plus offer them a chance to share with our guests the work that they are doing in the community.
In May, our friend Richard Anderson, President of Horizon's Residential Care Center, will jump behind the bar to serve drinks in support of his organization. It’s an amazing opportunity to have a drink knowing that you’re also supporting a great cause. So stop by and let him pour you one!
Horizons is a local organization that focuses on creating inclusive communities that empower and serve exceptional children and adults through compassionate residential care and extraordinary opportunities. These individuals are living out their lives with all sorts of various conditions and health concerns, so Richard and the Horizons team go above and beyond to care for them, enhance their lives, and support them and their families for the long-term. It’s amazing work, and we are proud to partner with them.
We would love to see you there!
Vinyl Night
One night per month, we pull out the turntable and set the wax spinning. We do this because its cathartic: the phono-harmonic sounds wash over us as we enjoy a slightly more simple evening, one with a slower vibe, a few breaks in the music here and there, and tunes that whisper to us of days gone by.
It’s pretty simple:
We plug up the record player and play an album side.
You bring a record and we will play a side of it for the taproom.
The next guest does the same.
We enjoy an eclectic mix of music together over the course of an evening.
And we drink to the rhythm of the needle and the grooves.
So join us and bring a record to share. Keep it classy, as we are a family friendly establishment, and will not play an album side that is overly inappropriate. It’s bound to be a good time!
Fly Tying at BD
Meet up with other local fly fishermen (and fisherwomen!), bring your vice, grab a beer, and tie a few flies!
It’s as simple as that. All skill levels welcome!
Jade
Foothills’ Jade IPA is a Winston-Salem icon. This year, to celebrate this quintessential beer, Foothills has reimagined the classic artwork of Kyle Webster and allowed other artists to put their own spin on it. You will find alternate Jade art packages in the market as you’re shopping and they are so cool!
But now it’s your turn! Stop by Brouwerij DuBois on Thursday May 28 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM for a chance to try your hand at it. Blank Jade cans will be available, plus sharpies. All you have to do is show up with an idea and bring your talent to bear.
The best can art will be displayed in the taproom for a week and folks will be able to vote for their favorite art. The winner will receive a BD/Foothills prize pack.
Or, you can design your can, take it home, put it in the fridge, and then drink it. Your call!
Either way, stop by and celebrate Jade IPA with us.
Did we mention it will also be on tap?! Duh!

Letters From The Vineyard: Jean-Bouchard French Wines
The vineyard is a magical place. The heartbeat of nature, the personality of the soil, and the expression of the fruit collide with the will of the man (or woman) tending the vines.
We offer for your consideration a new monthly event, focused on a singular brand, with multiple offerings sold in a wine flight. Different makers, different styles, and brands you may have never heard of. A letter of sorts, from the vineyard itself.
In April, we explore the French house of Jean Bouchard, with three offerings, the Cotes Du Rhone, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.
All three wines in one flight, for just $14.
One night only, while supplies last.
Come and try them!
Books At The Brouwerij
This evening, we will be discussing “The Human Scale” by Lawrence Wright.
NOTE: Even if you haven’t finished the book, we encourage you to join the group and listen in on the discussion! No pressure!

Spring Smoke Out!
Every April 20, we throw a party. For reasons that are… well, obvious. This year it’s a Monday, but that shouldn’t dampen our spirits. Let’s party nonetheless!
Rob and the Bear Creek BBQ fam will be on site for the third straight year serving up his delicious BBQ and his smoked chicken wings with the once-per-year STICKY ICKY and GREEN GANJA sauces.
We will have drink specials all evening on THC beverages, plus Nick from Foothills will be onsite doing free samplings of Little Trees THC seltzers from 5-6:30 PM!
We will have a number of delicious gummies and pre-rolls from Tapestry Herb Co. available for purchase.
Dylan Wishon will be set up on the patio playing some tunes from 6-8 PM to keep the vibes going.
Plus, we will have a number of fun weed-related games and activities set out throughout the space to keep you occupied if you so choose. Or don’t, we don’t care!
For this evening, we are asking that the kiddos be left at home. 21 and up only. And we encourage everyone to get an uber or set up a ride to get home safely.
See you guys on 4/20!
Classics On The Corner
Classic vehicles, with their intentional designs, bright colors, powerful engines, and endless stories, inspire our American spirit. They are to be revered, but they are also to be driven, to be observed, conversed over, and held in awe. Twice per year, we host some of our regulars who own these immaculate machines as they convene in the lot to showcase their cars.
This event is free to attend for the public, with no purchase necessary to walk the lot and admire the cars. That being said, we will have a full list of amazing craft brews on tap, additional adult options in cans/bottles, a carefully curated wine list, and several N/A options for non-drinkers and kids alike.
Fonz’s Firehouse Grill food truck will also be on site serving up their delicious cheesesteaks for your enjoyment.
We invite you to join us for the spectacle!
THIS CRUISE-IN INVOLVES CARS THAT HAVE BEEN PRE-APPROVED AND CURATED. IF YOU HAVE A CAR YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING TO SHOW, PLEASE EMAIL JORDAN@BROUWERIJDUBOIS.COM TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE A SPACE FOR YOU AND GET THE DETAILS

NC Pint Glass Day
Once per year, the NC Craft Brewers Guild designs a pint glass that is sold in member breweries throughout the state. Each year, an NC-based artist designs the glass to honor elements of the state, and this is our second year in a row serving as a retail spot for the glass.
Glasses are $6 if you just grab one by itself, or $12 if you want it filled with a pint of beer!
Plus a dollar of each glass sale is directly donated to the Guild to help with funding their initiatives to keep the industry growing and thriving here in our state.
These are super duper limited. We are going to have around 60 for sale, so do not wait around!

Orval Day 2026
Join us as we celebrate one of the most important and storied beers ever brewed: Orval. The legend of this beer dates back to 1070 AD, when the Abbaye d’Orval was established in Belgium after Princess Matilda had an interesting experience walking in the Belgian countryside one day. She was visiting a natural spring when her ring fell off her finger. She was devastated, and fell to her knees to pray, asking God to return her ring. Moments later, a trout swam up and popped out of the water holding her ring. The Princess was so moved that she donated that land to the church, naming it Orval or “Golden Valley.”
Unlike most Trappist breweries around the world, the monks at Abbaye d’Orval brew just one beer: a pale Belgian ale with Brettanomyces. “Brett,” as it is lovingly called, is essentially a unique strain of arborial yeast that instills a funky, tart, and dry character to beer. Orval was actually the first Brett Beer to be imported to the United States, and to this day, we celebrate it throughout the country on one Saturday in March to share the legend and the beauty of this classic with new and familiar audiences alike. Plus, Merchant Du Vin, the Importer/Distributor of Orval, donate a portion of proceeds from Orval Day sales to US non-profits.
So what is the deal for Orval Day? Well, it’s pretty simple:
1) Swing by and order a bottle of Orval. We are selling the bottles for just $6 all day long, instead of $8, the normal price.
2) The first guests that come through will get theirs served in the iconic Orval chalice and it’s theirs to keep. Quantities are as yet unknown, but last year we ended up with about 20, and we anticipate that again this year. TBD!
3) We also have a few bottles tucked away from last year’s vintage. Those are just $7 each if you care to have one of each and compare the aged version to the current one. There is about a case of the 2025 bottles left, so those are limited.
4) From 1-4 PM, Yankee & Y’all Charcuterie will be onsite with fun, seasonal grazing boxes available for purchase. Then, Fonz’s Firehouse Grill will be serving hot dogs, smash burgers, and more beginning at 5 PM.
So make plans to stop in and have a pour of this timeless classic!

Winnie Pour Wednesday
Our friend Winnie is always on the lookout for a killer wine deal. And her idea of a great pour is heavier than normal, and a bit cheaper than usual. So once a month, we source a killer wine, and oblige on the pour.
A Winnie Wine Pour is an 8 oz serving of killer wine for just $6.
One day only. From the time we open, until last call or we run out, whichever comes first.
Our March selection features two lovely wines from La Casaccia in the Italian Piedmont.
The Poggeto is a lovely, lighter red made of purely Grignolino grapes. They are challenging to grow and vinify, as they have many seeds which contributes to a robust tannic quality and increased acidity. But when done well, like this one is, it’s a beautiful drinking experience, featuring a light body and color laced with bright strawberry and sweet cherry notes. We plan to serve this with a slight chill.
The Charno is a Chardonnay fermented solely in stainless steel. It features unbelievable ripe fruit notes, salinity and minerality from the chalky, limestone soils from which is is born, and a delicate freshness that makes it perfect for pairing with food or enjoying on a balcony overlooking a moving stream. Aged on the lees for a bit longer than usual, which imparts a layered texture that is the cherry on top.
La Casaccia is the fruit of the Rava family’s labors. Husband and wife combo Giovanni and Elena, with their adult kids, daughter Margherita and son Marcello, have been farming about 12 hectares around their home village for over two decades now. They hand pick all fruit, often just the four of them. Then, in the courtyard of their own home, the grapes are destemmed and gravity fed into the subterranean winemaking space. In fact, Elena’s ancestors have been making wine in the region for several generations now. Plus, the vineyards and winery are certified organic.
As our importer, Piedmont Wine Imports puts it, “The honesty of the Rava’s approach… four farmers. Nothing complicated, just thousands of hours of diligent, by-hand labor.”
We hope you will make plans to stop by and experience a taste of these delicious wines!
BRINNER!
We love traditions at Brouwerij DuBois and we want to get some new ones going in 2026. Considering that the best traditions center around a good meal, and considering that everyone loves breakfast for dinner, and considering that Rob of Bear Creek BBQ fame has been perfecting his breakfast menu, we introduce: BRINNER at Brouwerij DuBois!
BRINNER will be scheduled about once per quarter (for now) and the menu might vary a bit. Chicken and Waffles? Maybe so! BBQ Stacker (pancakes with pork BBQ)? Possibly. Biscuits with Sausage Gravy? Potentially. Other treats? Yea, it’s likely. Stay tuned as we post additional details on social media as the event approaches.
But mark your calendars, bring the fam, and let’s gather round the table for BRINNER!
Our Cup Runneth Over
We are so blessed yall.
Our humble taproom has become a gathering space for so many, a little home away from home for folks. We’ve seen community thrive and friendships blossom and laughs and tears and celebration and mourning. Our cup is full. No, in fact, our cup runneth over. We have more than we need. And so we give back.
Each month, we invite regulars and neighbors to serve as “Guest Bartenders” for one evening in support of a local non-profit that means so much to them. They get the word out, they work with the organization to be present for the event, and we help them create a memorable experience that results in raising money and awareness. A portion of the proceeds from each of these events goes directly back to the organization.
For February, our friend Gray Godwin is going to step behind the bar and serve up the suds to benefit an organization near and dear to her: Stepping Stones Canine Rescue.
Stepping Stones works with local shelters, foster networks, and other community stake-holders to find forever homes for dogs throughout Forsyth County. They are a little smaller and more agile than a larger organization like the Humane Society, so they can adapt to more dogs’ needs. They do great work and have connected hundreds of families with pets over the last 15 years or so.
This is an unbelievable cause to support, with great people who do amazing work. Brouwerij DuBois will donate 10 percent of our gross sales that evening to Stepping Stones, and there will be additional ways for you to donate as well while you are here.
It’s Taco Tuesday, so South of Brooklyn will be on the lot serving tacos, nachos, and burrito bowls. Our menu of beverages has something for everyone. We would love to have you!

Books At The Brouwerij
This evening, we will be discussing “The Rosie Project” by Graeme Simpson.
NOTE: Even if you haven’t finished the book, we encourage you to join the group and listen in on the discussion! No pressure!
Remember, you can purchase the book for a discount at both Bookmarks (downtown behind Foothills Pub) and The Book Ferret (in the Lowes Foods shopping center at Robinhood/Peace Haven) so swing by one of those spots and let them know you are with the Brouwerij DuBois Book Club!
Daytona 500 Throw Down!
Embrace your inner redneck, throw down some domestic brews, and enjoy some good, old-fashioned, southern-style racing! We kick off the Nascar season with a cultural experience for all!
We will have the race on both TVs with the volume up, domestic draft specials, games, contests, pools, and more.
The green flag is scheduled to drop around 2:30 PM, but arrive early to enter the pools, which will close right when the race starts. Various cautions will result in some side quests like a fashion show, trivia round, and more.
Don’t forget to dress as NASCAR as you possibly can. Hit the Goodwill for a tattered Mark Martin t-shirt. Grow out the hair on the back of your hear and neatly trim those growing up front. Trucker caps are practically required. You get the point… And we WILL have a prize for the NASCAR KING and NASCAR QUEEN of 2026.
Let’s get after it y’all!
