May Birthday Bash
Born in May? Come celebrate your birthday with us!
Each child (or adult) of May will get a little birthday hat and a bubbly beverage on the house. We will have homemade cupcakes celebrating you, and will do a toast around 7 PM to your having survived a whole nother year! During this short ceremony, any guest may raise a toast to their loved one or friend and say a word or two about that person for the sake of celebration, and when those are complete, we throw the drink back, sing, and cut the cake.
It’s fun, it’s whimsical, and we will do it every month. Because we want to celebrate as much and as often as we can. And because we love you and you deserve it.
Cheers and happy birthday!
Vinyl Night
One night per month, we pull out the turntable and set the wax spinning. We do this because its cathartic: the phono-harmonic sounds wash over us as we enjoy a slightly more simple evening, one with a slower vibe, a few breaks in the music here and there, and tunes that whisper to us of days gone by.
It’s pretty simple:
We plug up the record player and play an album side.
You bring a record and we will play a side of it for the taproom.
The next guest does the same.
We enjoy an eclectic mix of music together over the course of an evening.
And we drink to the rhythm of the needle and the grooves.
So join us and bring a record to share. Keep it classy, as we are a family friendly establishment, and will not play an album side that is overly inappropriate. It’s bound to be a good time!
Originals On The Outskirts
Music is at the core of who we are as humans. We have been composing, playing, singing, since the dawn of time. It is elemental.
So is the experience of enjoying music in a live venue. And while we love just as much as anyone else to hear our favorite radio tunes played on a lovely evening, here at Brouwerij DuBois, we believe that local artists who write and perform their own songs need a platform to showcase their works. Their spirit and creativity only thrives when given a stage on which to let it rip.
That is why our series “Originals On The Outskirts” exists, so that these individuals can keep the juices flowing. Each session will feature two local artists who will only perform original works that they created. And our line up for the Spring is incredible.
On Saturday May 31, our final Spring show, Dylan Wishon and Evan Blackerby, will be on site to show you a good time!
There’s never a cover charge. There’s always a food truck. All shows are on the patio, so please dress accordingly.
We can’t wait to have you!

Winnie Pour Wednesday
Our friend Winnie is always on the lookout for a killer wine deal. And her idea of a great pour is heavier than normal, and a bit cheaper than usual. So once a month, we source a killer wine, and oblige on the pour.
A Winnie Wine Pour is an 8 oz serving of killer wine for just $6.
One day only. From the time we open, until last call or we run out, whichever comes first.
Our June wine is as bright and as bubbly as the Summer: RAW “Frizzante” sparkling white.
Here’s Megan from Freedom Beverage take on this one. :
“Megan’s enthusiasm for this gently sparkling wine goes beyond its flavor and eco-friendly packaging—she actually named her cat after the style! In her own kitchen, Megan reuses the resealable bottles for everything from homemade dressings to fresh juices, proof that a great wine can also serve a practical purpose. This fun, casual sparkler is perfect for menus where sustainability matters just as much as taste, appealing to both adventurous sippers and eco-conscious establishments.”
Come grab an 8 oz pour for just $6. One night only!
Books At The Brouwerij
This evening, we will be discussing “The Violin Conspiracy” by Brendan Slocum
NOTE: Even if you haven’t finished the book, we encourage you to join the group and listen in on the discussion! No pressure!
Remember, you can purchase the book for a discount at both Bookmarks (downtown behind Foothills Pub) and The Book Ferret (in the Lowes Foods shopping center at Robinhood/Peace Haven) so swing by one of those spots and let them know you are with the Brouwerij DuBois Book Club!

Forsyth Humane Society Paw Crawl
Join us for the most pet friendly pub crawl in Winston-Salem! Each year, the Forsyth Humane Society hosts a pub meet up each month at a different local watering hole, and we are honored to be hosting the June event. Bring your pups, snag a beer, and support the organization.
We will also have Rockin Moroccon food truck on site, so dinner is covered.
More details to come as we get closer, but mark your calendars now!

Retro Game Night at Brouwerij DuBois is exactly what you think it is: we pull out the AV carts and hook up old school consoles and play all night.
Each time we host Retro Game Night, we will have different games on deck. All games will be family friendly, so this is a great event for kids and adults alike. We will explore classic consoles and the best games of old. And it’s totally free to play! Just swing in, play a round or two, then let the next player jump in.
Special thanks to our friends at Retroid Games on Burke Street in Winston-Salem for technical support, inspiration, and overall encouragement to make this event a reality. Go check them out sometime!

May Day Festival & Market
May Day is a celebration of the turning season, fertile soils, and the beauty of life in abundance. At Brouwerij DuBois, this is an opportunity to come together and be merry. So we are hosting our seasonal vendor market along with a number of other activities on Sunday May 4 to commemorate the planting season that way and look forward to the growing season to come.
Vendor Market:
A carefully curated collection of local growers, makers, creators, and collectors will be on site to showcase their wares. We will continually update the list of vendors as we get closer to the date.
Live Music:
Local Singer/Songwriter Hannah Adams will be playing a set of her own original songs from 4-6 PM. There is no cover, and this is a family friendly environment. Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket. You're in for a real treat!
Food:
Smoke Revival Meat Company is back y'all! After four unbelievable pop ups last Fall, we have been missing them but the hiatus is over. Smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, and sides are on deck. But be aware that they literally ALWAYS sell out. Don't wait around! They will be serving from 1-6 PM or whenever they sell out.
Beverage Menu:
The taps will be chock full of Spring and Summer favorites including Maibock, Saison, Witbier, and other brews that are irrefutably brewed to be consumed with the sun on your face.
Plus, we will have our Momma's Mimosas on sale for just $5 as is our Sunday tradition, but we are working on a few interesting variants to really capture the season. And on top of that, we will have a beautiful and lively peach wine available by the glass for just $8 all day long or until we run out.
And there's more to come! CLICK HERE to see the Facebook event, let us know you’re coming, invite your friends, and see updates about vendors and more as we approach the date!
We can't wait to see you!
Our Cup Runneth Over
We are so blessed. Blessed with a community that supports us without fail. Blessed with great regulars who love us and have become like family. Blessed with dreams that are coming truer and truer on a daily basis. We are blessed. Our cup runneth over.
This month, our guest bartender is one of our regulars here at the bar: Nicole Brinkley. She and her husband Allen have elected to support Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Yadkinville, NC an organization near and dear to her heart, as she has had family who were cared for there.
Nicole will be behind the bar from about 6 to 8:30 or so, but proceeds from our entire evening will benefit Mountain Valley. Plus, we will have Hummingbird Food Truck on site serving up delicious burgers, tacos, and more.
Come make an evening out of it, let Nicole serve you a beer, and support a worthy cause all on one night. See ya soon!

TACO TUESDAY!
Join us at Brouwerij DuBois for $2 Corona Lights and $5 Mexican Lager drafts as we enjoy tacos from our good friends South of Brooklyn! Grab a punch card, and when you hit 10 tacos, you’ll get a free taco from them and a little gift card from us. Why not make Tuesday a special occasion!

Classics On The Corner
A number of our regulars at Brouwerij DuBois are gear heads and love to drive their classic cars up to our little corner. So that got us talking about finding a time to get everyone together to do a little mini cruise in, which we were able to do last September. Lo and behold, everyone had a blast, with roughly 20 beautiful classic cars on site and tons of folks rolling through to check em out. We were asked to host again, and you know we can’t turn down a good time!
So we are hosting another rendition of Classics On The Corner, a carefully curated array of vehicles that we invite you to come admire and learn about. Their owners will be on site to share stories, answer questions, and of course, let you take pics.
We will try to post a list of vehicles attending as we get closer. The line up is invitation only as space is quite limited.
We absolutely anticipate having a food truck on site, and will let you know who that will be once we get the details ironed out.
Can’t wait to see you again!

Saison Day 2025
Saison, French for “season,” is our most beloved style of beer. It’s a farmhouse ale, traditionally brewed in the Belgian and French countryside by individuals for their own familial or personal consumption. Whereas IPAs and Pale Ales are hop driven, and lagers are malt driven, and wheat ales and sours are often fruit driven, Saison is uniquely propelled by the yeast that is utilized. These strains are hearty and create robust aromas and flavors entirely their own.
Allagash Brewing, one of our inspirations and favorite breweries of all time, decided years ago to start celebrating Saison with its own day once a year. They get breweries around the country to join in, bringing people together to celebrate this lovely farmhouse ale with so many possible interpretations and we are SO in for it.
Join us all day on Saturday April 26 for Saison Day 2025. We will be serving a variety of Saison on draft all day long, and even offer a flight, carefully curated by Jordan himself, complete with tasting notes.
Love Saison? This the day for you. Don’t quite know? Well shoot, there’s never been a better time. Had a Saison you didn’t love? Stop by and let Jordan show you around…
Either way, let’s celebrate!

Spring Smoke Out
Every Spring we invite our friend Rob of Bear Creek BBQ to come out on April 20 and help us celebrate. This year, its also Easter, so we have two reasons to party! Here’s the rundown:
Food: Bear Creek BBQ has the smoked meats folks! Smoked Wings with special sauces like “Sticky Icky” and “Green Ganja” among others. Smoked Ham sandwiches with brown sugar glaze. Smoked pulled pork and pulled chicken on sandwiches. And of course, smoked mac n cheese!
Beverage Specials: We have curated a whole new lineup of THC drinks for your imbibing pleasure and we will have special pricing on all of them throughout the day while supplies last. Whether you want a little 2mg microdose drink with citrus and herbal flavors, a 5mg can to feel right, a 10mg grape soda to lift you up, or a 30mg fizzy lemonade to really sent you soaring, we have options for you up and down the spectrum.
Vibe and Imbibe Zone: The Garden Canopy (the fenced in area) is for 21 and up only on this day and we have a few extra goodies for folks out there. Several of the tables will have 420 themed games and activities like “Do or Smoke” and “Stack the Joints” or, get this, a 1000 piece pot puzzle. Because you should not stop challenging yourself just because you’re high! We will also be selling Gassed Up 25mg gummies and a variety of pre-rolls. The pre-rolls can ONLY be smoked in the Garden Canopy space!
Family Friendly Area: The inside of the taproom and the patio are family friendly. You can certainly drink your beverages in those spaces, but no smoking please! The lawn will be opened back up for the weekend, we will have a kids coloring station inside, and even a little easter themed game set up by the outside fence.
Live Music: Local Singer/Songwriter Sophie Danowski is going to be on the patio from 5-7 PM doing a variety of her original compositions for your listening pleasure. She’s quite talented and was a fan favorite when she performed last Fall for us!
So…. yea, let’s party! See you on 4/20!

Our April wine is unique and fun: Estacion Yumbel “Pipeno” Pais from Chile.
Here’s what Damon from Proof Distributing has to say about the wine and the winemaker:
“Mauricio arguably produces the most honest and authentic expression of Pipeño in a remote section of the already rural Biobío. While in recent years Pipeño has been coopted and used as a marketing tool to describe and sell a variety of different wines, it is at it’s essence a country / farmer wine made from 100% País that ferments and ages in pipas. Pipas are old vertical large barrels made from Raulí, the native beechwood that’s both dense and finely grained and takes many decades to mature. Sadly and in order to support the rapidly growing paper industry, the government began removing the native trees in 1974 to replace them with invasive white pines and eucalyptus.
Mauricio is most definitely working low tech in his old wooden, dirt floored barn. The sun shines through the slats of its walls, within which there is absolutely no temperature control. In addition to no corrections on the wines, he employs a tiny old basket press, which he doesn’t even use every year, and an old mechanical destemmer that he shares with some friends. But make no mistake, he is certainly not some novice or unskilled winemaker. Mauricio spent a decade working in industrial wineries in Mendoza and the north of Chile before he settled in Biobío committing to a better life for himself and his family and to make wine on his terms.
Mauricio dry farms 4 hectares of Pais, Malbec, and Moscatel, all of which bush vines planted on the volcanic soils of Secano Interior de Yumbel. He barely even uses copper in the vineyards and the wines are all zero zero and completely unfined and unfiltered. He produces somewhere around 18,000 total bottles a year where Pipeño accounts for just over half of that. Oh yeah! If he weren’t already badass enough, in his spare time he also trains and races Arabian horses owning three or four himself!”
Come grab an 8 oz pour for just $6. One night only!

Orval Day 2025
Join us as we celebrate one of the most important and storied beers ever brewed: Orval. The legend of this beer dates back to 1070 AD, when the Abbaye d’Orval was established in Belgium after Princess Matilda had an interesting experience walking in the Belgian countryside one day. She was visiting a natural spring when her ring fell off her finger. She was devastated, and fell to her knees to pray, asking God to return her ring. Moments later, a trout swam up and popped out of the water holding her ring. The Princess was so moved that she donated that land to the church, naming it Orval or “Golden Valley.”
Unlike most Trappist breweries around the world, the monks at Abbaye d’Orval brew just one beer: a pale Belgian ale with Brettanomyces. “Brett,” as it is lovingly called, is essentially a unique strain of arborial yeast that instills a funky, tart, and dry character to beer. Orval was actually the first Brett Beer to be imported to the United States, and to this day, we celebrate it throughout the country on one Saturday in March to share the legend and the beauty of this classic with new and familiar audiences alike. Plus, Merchant Du Vin, the Importer/Distributor of Orval, donate a portion of proceeds from Orval Day sales to US non-profits.
So what is the deal for Orval Day? Well, it’s pretty simple:
1) Swing by and order a bottle of Orval. We are selling the bottles for just $6 all day long, instead of $8, the normal price.
2) The first 22 guests that come through will get theirs served in the iconic Orval chalice and it’s theirs to keep.
3) We also have pins and keychain bottle openers that will be distributed among guests throughout the day while supplies last.
So make plans to stop in and have a pour of this timeless classic!

Seth will be behind the bar from about 6 to 8:30 or so, but proceeds from our entire evening will benefit Sally’s Angels. Plus, we will have Mo Empanadas Food Truck on site serving up delicious empanadas and more.
